President Bush: U.S. needs to stay committed to the fight against hunger, disease
President Bush wants the United States to be a key player in the future of disease prevention and treatment across the world. The United States can begin in developing nations by fighting diseases like malaria, HIV/ AIDS, hookworm, and river blindness, Bush says.
